The Story Behind Breakthrough

Breakthrough began with a simple observation: many valuable student and academic research outputs are completed, submitted, and then quietly stored away where only a few people can find them. The project was created to give those works a more visible and lasting place in the academic community.

We chose the word Breakthrough because it represents the moment when research moves from being an isolated requirement into something that can inform, inspire, and support future studies. In our concept, a breakthrough is not only a major discovery. It is also the act of opening access, connecting ideas, and helping knowledge continue beyond the classroom.

This repository reflects that purpose: to turn completed research into discoverable academic records that departments, reviewers, publishers, and readers can organize, evaluate, and build upon.
